Research & Insights
We design and conduct field-based research to generate in-depth insights on women, media and communication across MENA and Africa. Our work captures perspectives often missing from global narratives, providing context-driven data and analysis that help better understand how information environments shape women’s experiences and roles in society.

Learning & Capacity Building
Through MENA-WEM Academy, we design and deliver practical learning experiences that translate research into action. Our programs support women in navigating real challenges, developing relevant skills and transforming their knowledge into concrete opportunities within their specific social and economic contexts.
Collaborative Projects

We collaborate with organizations, researchers and local actors to co-develop projects grounded in real contexts. These initiatives integrate communication, gender perspectives and local knowledge, ensuring that interventions are relevant, effective and aligned with the realities of the communities they aim to serve.
Advisory Services
We provide evidence-based advisory support to projects and organizations seeking to better understand women’s engagement with media and communication. Our approach brings contextual insights into strategic decision-making, helping design more inclusive, impactful and context-aware initiatives.
Publishing & Thought Leadership
Through Media Liberata, our publishing initiative, we produce analytical content, articles and publications exploring key trends, challenges and power dynamics in media and communication. Our work contributes to shaping critical thinking and advancing knowledge on women’s empowerment across MENA and Africa.

Webinars, Events & Network
We organize webinars, discussions and applied sessions that bring together experts, practitioners and participants to exchange perspectives and foster collective learning. Through these interactions, we also build a growing network of contributors and collaborators engaged in research, knowledge-sharing and action across the region.
