I am a tourism, social development, and import-export professional. I am specialized in building trusted relationships and connecting people with complementary needs in order to help individuals, organisations, and businesses access the right opportunities, partners, and services, by using strong communication, credibility, and relationship-building skills, leading to effective collaboration, successful projects, and sustainable business growth.

In Egypt, local suppliers and international buyers often struggle to find reliable partners and build transparent commercial relationships.
This affects both sides because they may face difficulties in verifying quality, comparing offers, and establishing long-term trust.
Today, this need is becoming more urgent due to economic instability and supply-chain pressure. Existing solutions are often not sufficiently transparent, trusted, or adapted to the needs of both local and international partners.

Through the MENA Impact Women programme, I refined the strategic direction of Al Arkan, an existing import-export and supply company that I co-founded.
The programme helped me identify how to begin developing the company’s activities and clarify its competitive value: building trust between buyers and sellers.
Al Arkan connects Egyptian producers, manufacturers, and suppliers with international buyers by acting as a trusted commercial intermediary. Its role is to understand the needs of both parties, identify suitable partners, and support transparent and reliable business relationships.
Its added value lies in transforming trust, communication, and relationship-building into practical commercial cooperation. This approach gives Al Arkan a clear strategic position in the market and is reflected in its guiding principle: “We export trust first.”

This project matters today because local suppliers and international buyers need more than access to markets; they need reliable information, clear communication, and trusted relationships to work together effectively.
Economic pressure, changing standards, rising costs, and supply-chain instability make it increasingly important for both sides to identify dependable partners and make informed business decisions.
Al Arkan responds to this need by providing trust-based commercial mediation that helps buyers and sellers understand one another, verify opportunities, and build more transparent and sustainable partnerships.
By placing trust at the centre of its activities, Al Arkan can contribute to stronger business relationships, wider market access, and more sustainable economic cooperation.

I am Nora Farouk Farrag, a tourism professional, entrepreneur, and community development leader from Egypt with experience in hospitality, import and export, general supplies, agricultural investment, and social development projects.
My work focuses on using communication, trust, and relationship building to connect people and organisations with the partners, services, and opportunities they need.
I co-founded Al Arkan and founded Emaar Al Ard Association for Community Development. Across both business and community initiatives, people entrust me with projects because they value my credibility, my ability to understand their needs, and my commitment to practical results.
Through my participation in the MENA Impact Women programme, I clarified Al Arkan’s strategic direction and identified trust-based commercial mediation as the company’s main competitive value.
I believe that trust is one of the most valuable forms of professional capital. When combined with communication, experience, and strategic relationships, it can create meaningful business opportunities, stronger communities, and sustainable development.
